Xplicit Architecture and Integrated Services (XAIS) is an Architectural and Building Services rendering company with headquarters in Abuja.The company was conceived in 2007 with the main focus of providing world class services to individuals,communities, cooperate bodies, local and multi-national companies, and the government.

As part of our desire to improve on the qualities of our services to our clients, Xplicit Architecture and Integrated Services (XAIS) was duly registered with the CAC as an Architectural and Engineering, Construction and Design Solutions outfit in 2018 to provide integrated services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Office Assistant

Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking to hire an attentive office cleaner to join our team. In this position, you will be required to dust surfaces, vacuum and mop floors, and clean windows. The cleaner should also be able to remove stains from various surfaces.
  • To be successful as a cleaner, you should be able to complete assigned tasks within the stipulated period. Ultimately, a top-performing cleaner should be physically fit and able to perform with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
  • Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
  • Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
  • Emptying trash cans.
  • Liaising with the line manager to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times.
  • Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
  • Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.
  • Perform office errands as assisgned correctly
  • Assist staff to execute tasks
  • Washing and drying windows.
  • Clean office assets surfaces.

Requirements

  • Education: Applicants for the office cleaner position are commonly required to have a High School diploma or its equivalent qualification to be employed in an organization
  • Knowledge: Employers are interested in applicants who have at least basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals and supplies, and methods used in office cleaning
  • Detail orientation: To perform the job of an office cleaner successfully, the individual must give attention to detail when cleaning
  • Organizational skills: Office cleaners must also be organized individuals with the ability to follow a schedule and adapt to changing schedules or routines
  • Physical dexterity: The job of an office cleaner is manually inclined, so it is important that they are energetic and can lift up to 25 to 30 pounds without assistance. They must be able to reach,stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, and stand for a long duration with ease.
  • Part of the job of the office cleaner is to ensure safety, so it is vital that they have an understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), especially when working in a manufacturing environment. It is also useful that they can operate automatic floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers, and wet and dry vacuums
  • Communication skills: Employers look out for applicants that can read, write, and speak English language at a level necessary for efficient performance. They also need good communication skills to effectively follow written or verbal instructions
  • Interpersonal skills: Besides providing support to the staff of the organization, office cleaners have contact with customers and may be required to provide directions or other assistance to them. Hence, it is important that they can establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-workers, or clients

Salary
N30,000 / month.
